FAQ’s

Will we get the images on CD?

Of course. I won’t hold your photos hostage hoping to milk you for every penny I can.

You’ll receive all the full resolution photos on a disk. I’ve been told some horror stories of unsuspecting couples being given the photos on a disk only to find each photo watermarked with the photographers name, or being given the images but in low resolution, meaning there’s not an awful lot you can do with them.

A couple of thousand pounds for a days work sounds like a lot..?

Photographs last a very long time, and I’m well aware that when you’re old and grey, sat in your living room surrounded by grandchildren, it’ll be my photos sat on your mantelpiece reminding you of an amazing day way back when, you can’t really put a price on that.

Aside from that, I’ll spend the whole of your wedding day photographing, plus I typically spend between 3-4 days on each wedding I photograph, both before in checking out the venue and surrounding area for good photo opportunities and after the big day in post production.

Why do you only offer all day coverage?

When I first started photographing I’d use buzz words like ‘capturing the moment’ and ‘memories that last a lifetime’ whilst offering an amazing 8 hour coverage, generous, wasn’t I!? I pretty quickly came to my senses and realised these ‘moments’ don’t just happen during the middle 8 hours, they happen all day long, often when you least expect them; they happen from the moment you get up till the moment you leave in the evening.

It’s for this reason I decided to only offer all day coverage, from the beginning to the end, if you’re going to be getting up at 8.30am for the hairdressers, then I’ll be there if you’d like me to be. And I’ll still be there when you leave the party at the end of the day.

After the wedding how long before I receive my photos?

Depending on what package you choose I will normally contact you within two weeks to let you know your photos are ready to view. If you order an album, depending on which one you go for, it can take a little while to be put together and delivered.

I won’t keep you wondering.
I’ll let you know once it is ordered and the expected dispatch date, plus you’ll have my mobile phone number and email address for you to contact me any time.

Do I really need an album, can’t I just look at the photos on my computer?

I don’t recall a wedding where I’ve not been really proud of the photos I’ve taken, I love them, you love them, and I know the best way of looking at your photos is in an album. Of course, you can view the photos on your computer, however it really doesn’t compare to seeing them in a beautiful album.

I’ve literally scoured the globe and spoken to more album manufacturers than I care to remember to put together a collection of the very best albums available, albums which I’d be more than happy to buy myself. These albums are all hand made, and are quite simply beautiful.

Do you use a second photographer?

Ordinarily I photograph alone, however a second photographer can sometimes be useful, particularly for large weddings, or to photograph the grooms preparation.

The photographers I choose are all close friends of mine (not someone found on the internet) and they are all guys I’d happily book myself. I only use people I trust implicitly and have an absolute confidence in their ability to take amazing photos.

Can we have an engagement shoot?

Of course. Engagement shoots are becoming ever more popular and cost £350. They typically take a couple of hours, and we’ll agree where best to do the shoot.

Do you travel for weddings, engagement or portfolio shoots?

A lot of the weddings I photograph are in and around London, but I love travelling and am more than happy to travel to wherever your wedding or engagement shoot is, be it in the UK or overseas.

Where are you based?

I’m based in the south-west of London, UK.
